Jackie Zhang
— A beautiful interactive scrapbook feeling portfolio
Jackie’s portfolio website is full of character, with lovely micro-interactions and a gorgeous scrapbook-feel vibe that really helps to immerse you in his work.

The menu features some really nicely-done transitions between different scribble hover states.

The torn paper elements from the hero move into the center of the screen as you start to scroll through the work.

He shows off lots of snippets of work, laid out organically, helping you quickly get a feel for his style and skills.

This 'cutting board' section lets you drag the images around, a really nice touch.

I loved the little bio image peeking out — you can drag it out from under the work, and also drag the mask to reveal his face!

The call to action features a checklist of 'what I look for', which fills in the sketch as you check each one — a really nice way to signal the right people to get in touch.

The Work page is presented as a journey – with a luggage tag, wristband and travel ticket revealing more snippets of work.

It's great to see a space to present side projects as well, nice!
