Veteran designer Mike Kus has kept things fresh with the latest iteration of his Kus—Sutdio website – a super stylish portfolio packed with great work and plenty of meaty details.
The top of the page has a fast paced showreel video, giving an immediate overview of the style and quality of his work.
I love the minimal style with bold blue outlines emphasizing the structure of the page.
The home page shows a few selected projects, as well as details on the services offered and type of clients he works with.
A great client testimonial and scrolling logos adds some nice social proof.
The footer design is really cool, showing various links and big chopped off logo typography.
The 'your brand here' illustration mixed into the Work page grid is a really nice touch.
The case study pages set the scene nicely with a concise intro, followed by beautiful visuals showing off the work.
There's a good mix of images, videos, and short easy-to-read text explaining the details.
The 'more projects' section at the bottom keeps you browsing through the work.
The About page has a cool video of Mike in his studio, and provides lots of details about his career and background, and what sets him apart as a top designer.
